Riley DeBoest, Director
Riley grew up in Iowa and Minnesota, where she developed a love for community and the outdoors. She moved to Portland a few years ago to be closer to her family and embrace new opportunities. With a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Iowa State University, Riley began her career in the fitness industry, helping individuals reach their health and wellness goals.
Over the past several years, she has shifted her focus to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this work, Riley discovered her true passion: empowering others to build independence and achieve personal growth. Her approach combines her background in fitness with a deep commitment to inspiring progress and fostering meaningful connections.
Outside of work, Riley can often be found enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s paddle-boarding, hiking, disc golfing, or trying new adventures. She also loves powerlifting, traveling, making music, and spending quality time with her fiancé, dog, and cat.
Andrew, Personal Growth Advocate
Andrew (they/them) grew up in Northern California where they attended a fine and performing arts high school. They focused on singing and musical theater while also dabbling in piano. They expanded their relationship with art during their time at San Francisco State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. During this time Andrew explored painting, drawing, ceramics, crochet, and mixed media art.
Shortly after, Andrew moved to Oregon and worked in the home health and hospice field for several years. Here they discovered the joy of collaborating with fellow humans and advocating to ensure that needs are met for all. To further pursue this passion, they are currently enrolled in a Masters in Social Work program to become a therapist. Andrew plans to combine their art background with their future therapy practice. They firmly believe in the healing power of play and approach the world with continual curiosity and empathy!
In their spare time, Andrew loves gardening, making music, watching fantasy or spooky movies, sewing, video games, reading, being silly, spending time with the community, adventuring with their partner, and snuggling cats.
